All of us have fathers
but not everyone will raise us
Many times,
 in the depths of our minds,
there's no one there to praise us

Any fool, with the proper tool,
can help to make a baby
But it takes a true dad to really understand
the sacrifices you must make daily

From the time of conception,
a dad makes corrections
About the way he lives
He must realize,
his entire life,
is no longer his

Everything that he does,
is a labor of love
At least, that's how it should be
even at the worst,
 the baby comes first
that's the mark of a true daddy
