But why?...
I am new to this blog thing, I admit it. But it would appear that most people who post a blog on this site are new to it as well, not to mention new to speaking about any topic at length. How many are simply hoping that these little rants will prove to be the springboard towards getting a free PS3 or Xbox? I suppose that not everyone is cut out for public speaking, and it simply shines through. However, the people that post this gibberish seem to share a common complaint: that they do not appreciate people who post spam on the blogs. The word we are looking for here is I-R-O-N-Y. By posting blogs with no real topic, you are simply creating more spam! The point of blogs (I have been led to believe) is that you write a couple of paragraphs, or at least ONE paragraph, and that you stay on topic as best you can. Yes, I can hear you all right now: "Arent you that guy that's always commenting on people's spelling? This is the internet, no one care about my spelling or grammar!" This is true. The internet is not the place to criticize others about their horrible grasp of the English language. (And it is HORRENDOUS...like, I mean really, really bad.) There are a precious few of us who pride ourselves on being able to spell, or on at least trying to be able to spell, and I salute all of you. I am not going to name names, the reason being that I may not mention one of you, and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Ok, I think I'm done now. Wow, I admit, I feel alot better. Only 522,000 ponts to go. Wish me luck!
PS. I am pretty sure I've seen some blogs that were less than 256 characters. "We do this to cut down on spam and pointless blog entries." Shit, aren't about 95% of all blogs pointless?
