The 3 book Series by Suzanne Collins is very catchy. My wife started to read the books first, and i started on the first book when she started on her 3rd. I must tell you i am no speed reader but i finished the 2nd book by the time she was done with the 3rd.

The books are about a post apocalyptic United States (I presume) in the far future. The corrupt Government controls all "Districts" in a almost stone age fashion, while they reap the benefits of controlling all - Food, Money and Human Alike. To show extreme control they enter Children in a DEATH Match against each other.

I can not say enough about these books. I will more than likely start all over again as i am slated to finish the last tonight!

The Movie to be release March 2012 under the direction of Gary Ross
