  So this movie is debatable as to whether the footage in the movie was real. Well I've looked it up numerous times. Critics say that people in Nome, Alaska were receiving thousands of calls after the movie came out and they claim to have no knowledge of such a thing happening. But disappearances and murders happened every single day there for a good amount of years.

  If it did happen, how do we know that the FBI didn't pay them to keep their mouths shut. And another thing, in the movie, the patients had to be hypnotized to recollect any kind of memory from the experience. Hmmm maybe the whole town was abducted! Who knows. In the movie, if you look at where their jaws inhumanely widen and drop, no one had jaw injuries only broken backs and neck fractures. So, I guess it is debatable. Only, who is to say it wasn't real? Pretty convincing I think.
