TSA Takes Kid's Buzz Lightyear Toy

Everyone’s favorite shoe sniffers, the TSA, caused some turbulence this week when they confiscated a 5-year old boy’s Buzz Lightyear toy at a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida airport.  "We couldn't go on the plane yet because they said it looks too much like a gun and you can't bring guns on the plane," said young Levi Zilka, like a baby.

Levi’s dad chimed in, "We understand that things are scary out there right now but taking a toy from a five year old doesn't enhance national security. It was all I could do not to break down with him in that moment," David Zilka said, like a big strong man.

The toy was Levi’s favorite souvenir from his first trip to Disney World, where they were visiting from Pennsylvania. Tough break for little Levi, but it had to be a confidence boost for Buzz, who has long been trying to prove the viability of his laser blaster."Once he realized what was happening, that they weren't giving his toy back, he immediately starts bawling, just tears streaming down his face, crying," Dad continued while still not crying at all.

"Why'd it make you so sad?" Levi was asked, just to rub it in apparently.

"Because they threw it in the trash," said Levi.

Seems like keeping the toy off the airplane is a case of overdoing it. But as we all know, Buzz Lightyear is Not a Flying Toy.
