Virginia GOP Bill Would Check Students' Genitals Before Bathroom Use
Well, you read the title. Virginia Delegate Mark Cole recently proposed this ballsy piece of legislation which would define "anatomical sex" as “the physical condition of being male or female, which is determined by a person's anatomy.”
Oh, cool. It goes on to state that schools will have to “develop and implement policies that require every school restroom, locker room, or shower room that is designated for use by a specific gender to solely be used by individuals whose anatomical sex matches such gender designation.” So, someone has to be a sex checker, and I’m sure Delegate Mark is volunteering. You used to be suspended for taking your junk out, and now it’s mandatory?
The bill, specifically aimed at transgender individuals, goes on to state that any student who violates the policy will be subject to a $50 fine. Enough to have you coughing, but don’t turn your head on this one: you can view the bill here.
