A cop was following a blonde down the interstate. He noted that she was going about three miles over the limit but decided to let it slide when all of a sudden, the woman starts veering sharply to the left, then right, then left again. She continued this for about 10 seconds before the cop pulled her over.

When he came up to the blonde's window, he asked for her license and registration. She handed them over promptly and sat in silence with a look of absolute dread on her face. The cop thought something had to be wrong so he asked her why she started swerving so violently for no apparent reason.

The blonde replied, "Well officer, it started out with me over correcting after hitting the rumble strips, and then, all of a sudden, there was a tree right in front of me! I swerved and another tree appeared right in front of me again! I was so scared I thought I was going to die!"

The police officer sighs, hands back her license and registration and says to the blonde, "Mam, that was your air freshener".
