Ben, aka places_forgotten, is a photographer who lives in England and spends his time exploring creepy abandoned buildings. Recently he had a look around a vacated prison, complete with peeling paint, suspicious newspaper clippings, and the eerie feeling you'd expect from a former place of incarceration. 

Despite persistent efforts from commenters on Reddit, Ben refuses to divulge the locations of his finds, and for the sake of preservation, that's probably for the best. However, one commenter thinks it might be in Massachusetts, while others feel it more closely resembled the prison from the "Silent Hill" horror game. 

Either way, a date in one photo reveals that this location was open as recently as 2014, and it's incredible to see how much it has decayed in just a decade.
