      • Proverbs 3:6 basically says to trust in the the word of god because he will put you on the right path. If prudence is the "more accurate translation", why don't any of the bibles in my house use that word (my roommate has several bibles)? Every one of the bibles uses either "understanding" and intelligence", I guess it is just more evidence of people changing what the bible says to fit their own agenda. Even if the original writing of the bible was the word of god, it has been edited and translated dozens if not hundreds of time over the last almost 2000 years. It being translated so many times means that it is no longer the word of god, but the word of priests and kings. How can john be the word of jesus when the new testament was written around 100 years after jesus died.

      • Religion is defined as: The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power. Atheists don't worship anyone or anything. I don't know how many times this has been said but, if atheism is a religion then: Not believing in Santa Claus is also a religion, abstinence is a sexual activity, remaining silent is a speech, bald is a hair color, .       • can you point out where Jesus said anything about gay people, because I can't find anything. #14 all the crazy religious people blaming gay people for hurricane sandy say so. #21 how is the source bias? it is from psychologytoday.com, religion plays a big part in psychology besides most of the writers on that site have Ph. D.s (this means they are smarter than both of us). If you don't think they are not correct look them up and provide proof, oh yeah who needs proof when you have faith. #28 and #32 the thing with atheists is that if you provide evidence to prove something contrary to what they believe, they will change their minds (this is something that religious people have trouble doing). Proverbs 3:5-6 still says basically to believe in what god says and not what you understand.
