      • Evolution did not create empathy or sympathy, the belief in the existence of a god did. Otherwise, it would be a "Survival of the fittest" world. A nation under God created the laws that regulate humanity. Atheists are moving in to change these laws to provide themselves a financial gain.

      • jparts, you are the only one who has provided a succinct response. If God exists in a human mind, then God exists. I never said Jesus could turn water into wine, but it makes for an interesting story. Absolute morality has been created from religion. There is proof in daily actions taken. However, compassion is taught, and can be learned from life experiences. Upbringing and parental guidance is one of the most influential aspects of an individual's morality. Many of the people on this planet, who have positive morality are from family who worships. We are a people who are (By nature) easily influenced by our environment. Therefore, absolute morality DID originate from religion!
