Pet funerals are a devastating affair. But one lady decided to call 911 after hearing loud sobs next door. She did not expect it to be a rat funeral. 

TikTok user @stephhhhhf posted the security footage of her neighbor wailing which prompted her to call the police. The next clip features a police officer giving her the tea on her distressed neighbor.

 He assures her that the screaming neighbor was not in pain or in danger.

“She was crying because she was burying her pet rat,” explains the officer.

Unlucky for @stephhhhf the neighbor is known for being incredibly sensitive and vocal according to her family.

“So you live next to a screamer, congrats,” jokes the officer.

Pet deaths are heartbreaking! She is allowed to mourn her dear Remy/Rizzo/Master Splinter/Templeton in any way she sees fit.
