Something is seriously wrong with the Germans. 

German politician, Martin Neumaier has gone viral for sharing a number of videos of himself licking the inside of public toilets and urnials in what might be the funniest and most German news story to come across my desk in quite some time. 

Martin Neumaier has since deleted his Instagram page, however today a photo of him covered in poop has surfaced, though it is unclear if he is covered in his own poop or someone else's. 

The Free Democratic Party (FDP) candidate can be heard in one of his videos singing a " Nazi-era German national anthem," according to TheNews. Neumaier claimed the video was part of his "punishment" though it remains unclear what the "punishment" was for. 

It's a bold camping strategy, even for a German.
