Here’s What a North Korean Restaurant Looks Like
If you want North Korean food, you don’t have to head all the way to Pyongyang.
For most of us, North Korea is a country that we will never visit. As a result, many aspects of their culture are foreign to us, apart from whatever we see in dreary documentary footage.
But if you want a little taste of North Korea, you can actually eat at a North Korean restaurant. This is because the country operates restaurants in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and other countries, with each one serving authentic North Korean cuisine.
Here’s what one of those restaurants looks like — but fair warning, the food doesn’t look the best:
