There are a lot of weird sports out there, from wife carrying to cheese rolling. Here’s another one to add to the list: nose pulling.

The game is simple — stand or sit back-to-back, wrap a string around your heads, then start pulling in opposite directions. The first person to tap out, or the first person to fully pulverize their septum, is the loser.

One source claims that the game was designed to simulate frostbite, though it could also very easily be something that people just came up with because they were bored and had nothing better to do.

Regardless, it doesn’t look fun in the slightest.
