33-year-old Massachusetts native, Francisco Severo Torres was arrested after trying to open the emergency exit door, mid-flight during a United Airlines trip from LA to Boston.
The man then proceeded to try stabbing a flight attendant with a broken spoon that he fashioned into some sort of shiv. That's when passengers ganged up and tackled the disturbed man.
According to passengers, Torres was rambling about nazis and raping women just before the physical altercation. Torres was then arrested at Boston Logan International Airport upon landing.
