The QAnon Shaman Is Out of Prison and Doing Terrible Joker Cosplays
Nearly two and a half years after Jacob Chansley became the face of the Capitol Attack on January 6, 2021, the “Q-Anon Shaman” is trading his bison headdress for hastily-drawn Joker makeup, doing terrible impressions of Heath Ledger’s version of the Batman villain as conspiracy Twitter’s latest online grifter.
Nearly two and a half years after Jacob Chansley became the face of the Capitol Attack on January 6, 2021, the “Q-Anon Shaman” is trading his bison headdress for hastily-drawn Joker makeup, doing terrible impressions of Heath Ledger’s version of the Batman villain as conspiracy Twitter’s latest online grifter.
Chansley, who was released early from an Arizona federal prison in March after pleading guilty to one count of obstructing an official proceeding, has used his newfound internet access to cash in on his viral infamy, taking to Twitter with a whole lot of new conspiratorial nonsense.
“I’d like to introduce to you the stars of the dinosaur circus,” he said in an eight-minute video uploaded earlier this month, poorly cosplaying as The Dark Knight Rises villain through camera glitches and bad CGI.
“Each and every one of these dinosaurs has been in Washington’s Dinosaur circus for decades, enriching themselves and their donors,” he continued, flaunting a slideshow of Senators’ heads photoshopped on various dino bodies.
“All the while American families are being taxed into oblivion, disease is spreading, wars are started and perpetuated for profit, the housing market is collapsing, the banks are failing and all the while, they’re being bailed out with American tax dollars,” Chansley continued. “Meanwhile, the new world order agenda just rolls out across the american continent and americans extinction begins to unfold without a single little peep from the dinosaurs.”

But his bizarre Joker foray wasn’t just a one-time performance. Days later, Chansley sported the makeup yet again in a nearly four-minute rant about — you guessed it — the media.
“You want law and order in America? Well, the CIA must take off its mockingbird mask and turn itself in,” he demanded, before avowing to “expose their lies,” whatever the hell that means.

Though Chansley’s politics may be certifiably terrible, he can rest assured knowing there’s one thing he’ll get right every time — the fact that we do live in a society.
