      • Ack, got cut off. Anyhow it says "How do you know Politicians are the biggest crooks? They spend millions of dollars campaigning for a job that pays a few hundred thousand a year. They make their money off of kickbacks, and whatever else they can pull out of the people they tax."

      • You are correct. I've worked in both the film industry and the video game industry. In both industries, any production (be it a film, tv show, game, etc) they do all they can to spend down to the last penny. That way they can ask for a bigger budget come the next time a production comes around. They state that the last budget wasn't big enough and in order to produce the best possible quality "whatever" they need more money. They would go as far as spend budget money on parties or expensive catering, in order to achieve the spending needed to "spend it all".The government is nothing more than a business itself. I am almost fairly certain that it works in the same way. They do all they can to spend down to the last penny, so they can say it's not enough and need more for next year.It's not the government, per se, though. It's the lifelong politicians who hold the position, and abuse their power. I forget who said it, but it always get's me thinking "How do you know Politicians are the b

      • Sharpton, and the black community, should have come out on this a long time ago. This is nothing new. It first affected poorer communities with homeless people being targeted, then it moved to old people (such as 62 year old Delfino Mora, or Chicago who was killed in such an attack last year as he was pummeled and left to die in an alleyway by three black teens) and now it is moving into middle class neighborhoods. Now those in politics, media, etc. want to take notice? Yeah, it's coming closer and closer to their neighborhoods. It should have been cut off at the head, but they allowed it to spread by not speaking out against it.
