      • You can't just choose what you believe. I want to believe in a god too, but I can't because I don't see any REAL evidence indicating a higher power. That's like saying, I wish Leprachauns were real so I can find their pot of gold. Just because I WANT to find their pot of gold, doesn't mean I can just snap my fingers and believe in leprachauns and go in search of the end of a rainbow.

      • Our lives are not meaningless. We serve a purpose. But it is up to us to decide what we do for our fellow man, and I hope that we choose to do the right thing. But I still haven't really said why life is actually not depressing. When I was depressed, it was because I used to think of life as a test that we go through, and Heaven or Hell is our goal. But it's not. Heaven and Hell exists on Earth based on our decisions and thoughts. There is no life after this, but that doesn't mean life is meaningless. Life is full of meaning. But that essense is for us to create. Don't look toward death. Live Today. This is our only chance to enjoy it, so enjoy it! Embrace each day, and thank Life for being here to enjoy it! There is so much to life to love, and we are lucky to be here, even through the bad/rough times because good can't exist without bad. Otherwise, it would just be.

      • When I first came to realize there could be no God, I became really depressed about the realization. I thought, if there is no Heaven or Hell in the afterlife, what is the point of life? I'm just living toward no goal. But I thought about life on a larger scale. If there is no god, what's the point of humans continuing to live? Eventually, Earth will be destroyed. Sure, it won't be for about 13 billion years, but it will end, nonetheless! And we might end even before that. So what's the point? Why do we keep improving? Why do anything? I thought about all who lived before us. Everything we have today, came from someone yesterday. And I realized that no one really dies. We all leave our mark. Whether great or small, we leave something for this world and we affect the people that surround us, and that echoes through the world. We can choose to be good on Earth, or we can be bad. Most are somewhere in between. Our lives are not meaningless. We serve a purpose. But it is up to us to decide

      • Is Ube ice cream that ice cream wrapped in mochi? Salmon is my favorite sushi, and favorite cooked fish too. And I've racked up that much before too! That's why I now stick to all you can eat sushi bars! Though a good one is hard enough to find where I'm from, and it's probably even harder to find where you're from!
