      • Sorry about the Spain thing. I think I originally intended to write France but for whatever reason I wrote Spain. Anyways, if you provide an up-to-date resource that says that the populations of England and France are declining, I'll gladly rescind my presumably bothersome comments.

      • ... I got what you meant, what I was getting at is that it's dumb to "Celebrate because you have the power to celebrate" just because it happens to be one of your country's holidays. If everyone was celebrating everyday just because they had the power to celebrate, nothing would get done. And no, I'm not twelve.

      • Okay, well making up statistics to try to bolster your incorrect claim is just as dishonest as lying. Also, don't you think you kind of implied that Spain was a modern industrialized nation in your blog? You said the U.S. was the only modern industrialized nation in the world whose population was still growing, then you gave examples of other countries whose populations were decreasing (even though two of the four you gave weren't). If you didn't think Spain was a modern industrialized nation, why compare it to other modern industrialized nations? I also don't see how vague statistics from the past should justify your errancy. I could say that statistics from the past say that Bush's approval rating is at 90%, but that doesn't mean that's how it is now.

      • What about Spain, Great Britain, and all the African nations? If their populations are increasing as much as ours, by your logic that must mean that immigration is causing it. It doesn't make any sense. Also, you neglected to apologize for blatantly lying about the U.S. being the only modern industrialized nation in the world whose population is still growing.
