First of all who cares?" A lot of people care. Also, you were right about Russia and Germany's populations decreasing, but not Spain or England. Your population argument doesn't really make sense. You suggest that if a country's population is increasing then it is because that is a good country, however, almost all of the African countries' populations increased by 1-5%, while the U.S.'s increased by less than 1%.

      • The easiest place to find videos like that are on PETA's page. That's the only reason why I said to visit it. I really don't see how you think the videos are fake or staged, Gnome. Here's a video and an article about this type of thing that isn't from PETA. http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/02/22/animal_cruelty/ If you don't want to visit it, basically a guy went to a random slaughterhouse in 2007, not 1970, and found that they were violating USDA rules. Two weeks after the video was circulated, the USDA issued the largest beef recall in the history of the United States.

      • Gnome, I'm just talking about the videos of animals being inhumanely killed. There are plenty of them; cows being tied up by the feet, hung upside down, and having their throats slit, chickens getting half their beaks cut off then living in giant cramped areas, etc. I don't eat meat cause it's not right, and I won't join PETA for the point you brought up, Adraline.

      • I'm not sure you know exactly what you're talking about. I'm not a member of PETA, but go on their website and check out some of their videos. Also, would you care to cite any of the thousands of studies that have been done?
